ESTA Education is a UK accredited organisation offering multi-instrumental courses at various levels
ESTA (European String Teachers Association) is a nongovernmental organisation founded in 1972. Through ESTA Education we are extending our professional development resources to teachers of all instruments and voice, with a range of professional development courses and study programmes. ESTA Education is dedicated to meeting the needs of instrumental and vocal teachers, and to improving the quality of teaching at every level, from toddler to conservatoire.
ESTA post-graduate certificate (PG Cert)
ESTA certificate for music educators (CME)
The ESTA PG Cert was launched in 2017 and represents a partnership and collaboration with the University of Chichester in the UK. This international course is at Masters Level (level 7) and is delivered online, with one week of residential study at the University of Chichester campus. The course is delivered in English.
This course, which will launch in early 2019, is a brand new qualification for music educators working with children and young people in the UK. It is designed to enable them to gain recognition for their work while benefitting from opportunities to develop their practice. It is a level 4 qualification. ESTA foundation certificate for teachers (CfT)
This course is currently available for teachers based in China, Hong Kong and South East Asia, who teach piano. It is taught face-to-face by the distinguished musician, teacher and former ABRSM Hong Kong and Singapore Development Executive, Mr Bill Thomson. This course is delivered bi-lingually (with resident experienced musician interpreters) and covers the principles of teaching. It is suitable for new, aspiring teachers of piano, as well as those experienced teachers who work in isolation and who would benefit from interacting with colleagues.
